How we choose and score

Each heater becomes a normalised data sheet: we take its specifications from the Amazon page and the manufacturer and translate them into a fixed set of fields with their units, so two models can really be compared.

The seven scores

From that data we calculate seven scores from 0 to 10, always with the same criteria:

They are editorial judgements, not manufacturer data, and they are recalculated when the catalogue changes so they stay comparable with one another.

What we don't do

We don't invent specifications: if a figure is missing, the page shows a dash. We don't present a price as “current” without a date. We don't change a score because a product pays a better fee.

As an Amazon Associate, Kaikuse earns from qualifying purchases. Prices and availability shown are indicative, correspond to the capture date stated on each page and may change; the final price is the one displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase. “Amazon” and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
